I'm a chronic review reader and rarely a review poster. This little lighter deserves a review b/c it never worked. I went for a middle of the road priced lighter b/c my husband tends to lose things. Thought this was a good looking lighter and a good price. After filling it with butane Christmas morning, it refused to light more than once or twice. It hasn't lit since. Waste of $20. Don't buy it. Should've taken the other poor reviews to heart. Oh well!

After going through 4 Colibri Lighters I found the blazer Stratus. Wow it is so much better than any of the other lighters I have tried. It is easy to click. It also is easy to fill. It worked on the first click and eacha nd every time I tried it. I have 2 of these lighters. They both work great.

What a waste of money. This thing stoped working after two refills. The fact that i had to refill the lighter after 20 uses was bad enough. I'll still to buying lighters for a dollar from the bodega. I wanted something that was more comfortable to use and easy to refill at home to keep me from having to go out just to buy a lighter. I can't get a refund or replacement from Amazon. This will keep me aware of their varying return practices before buying from them in the future (that's my fault for not reading the fine print. Maybe i'll at least make sure that i spend a good amount on something of quality if i do purchase another lighter instead of buying offbrand crap (zippo or callibri will hopefully do the job).

The Blazer Stratus refillable butane gas, torch lighter is a wind-resistant, blue-torch flame, pocket lighter. The lighter creates a precise flame emitting from its head, allowing direct heat application to an object. It is used for lighting pipes, cigarettes, and cigars.
The Stratus lighter has a squeeze-activated ignition system, for ease of use, and soft-touch, rubber buttons, for comfort. It has a quick-change fuel dial at its base, for flame height adjustment. The slim body of the Stratus is designed for convenience and portability.
The lighter houses a piezoelectric ignition system, which is based on a pressurized molecular reaction, and requires no electric connection. Piezoelectric energy occurs when the trigger is activated, releasing a small, spring-loaded internal hammer that strikes a crystal, producing a spark and resulting in gas flame ignition.
The Stratus weighs 63.5 grams, and is 71 (l) x 14.5 (w) x 35 (h) centimeters. It has a gunmetal-colored body.
